Within the framework of the EffiSpray project, an innovative controller was developed to regulate the flow of spraying liquid and enable variable-rate spraying. Through Bluetooth communication with the corresponding software, the controller allows the quantity of spraying liquid to be precisely adjusted according to crop needs. In this way, it contributes to the optimal use of plant protection products, reduces environmental impacts and operator exposure, and improves cultivation practices and crop yields.
In parallel, an Android-based control panel application was developed, providing the operator with full control over the spraying process. The application connects to the EffiSpray system via Bluetooth and enables the immediate recording and display of data collected during spraying operations.
Users can log in to the application, access their registered agricultural parcels, and review information on previous spraying operations. In addition, they can connect to the controller installed on the spraying equipment, start or stop its operation, and manage the process in real time. This ensures optimal application conditions with greater precision, safety, and efficiency.
