The I3-4-BIOFERTILIZERS project has launched its Open Call for Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) adopt biofertilizers and implement circular, sustainable agrifood practices.
The initiative provides cascade funding of up to €60,000 per SME in Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Hungary to support feasibility studies, investment plans, and go-to-market strategies. Beneficiaries will also receive technical and advisory support, including mentorship, access to expert networks, pilot testing infrastructures, and decision-support tools.
The call seeks to strengthen the interregional biofertilizer value chain and promote a resilient, circular bioeconomy across Europe.
Application Strands
- Strand 1: Tools and services supporting the deployment of biofertilizers and the project’s Investment Cases (IC).
- Strand 2: Open innovation and scale-up of new biofertilizers.
